Nordic bath in the snow

benefits of Nordic bathing

Together with the sauna and hammam, the hot tub is the ideal complement to an enchanting outdoor wellness area in the garden.

It originated in Scandinavia, also known as the Swedish or Norwegian bath, and contributes to a Zen ritual of body relaxation. And if the Swedes and Finns are so fond of it, it's because taking a hot bath in the middle of nature on a cool winter's night provides a great sense of well-being.

Regular practice will bring relaxation to its users, among other benefits, as will improved blood circulation.

Immersed in water heated by a stove, on a wood fire or electrically, the hydromassage jets will promote muscular relaxation, reduce aches and pains, and the hot water will open the pores, eliminating toxins from the body.

Our models offer different variations in shape, round or square, real heat or cool baths, always to bring well-being and relaxation to the body.

Cold bath in the heart of nature

discover the cold

Taking a cold bath is also good for your well-being. Used by professional sportsmen and women to recuperate and reduce inflammation after their training or fitness sessions, cold is a considerable asset that is often overlooked, yet highly beneficial for the body.

Immersion in a cold water bath is a health asset, as this regular practice stimulates the body and the immune system, and is effective against cellulite, arthritis and has a toning effect. It also releases endorphins, which act immediately to relieve stress and give you a sense of being in the present moment.

With an outdoor cold bath, you'll experience an enchanting moment of rejuvenation worthy of the best spa-hotels. It's an experience that runs counter to the hustle and bustle of everyday life, restoring your vitality and, after a sauna session in particular, considerably improving your sleep and helping you to relax and unwind.

Everyday wellness

Our products feature a solid wood wall and a laminate shell on the inside, to optimize the product's lifespan. Treat yourself to pleasant, original moments of relaxation with family or friends, and live the balneo experience to the full. Whether you're looking for a bubbling bath in winter, or cool water to recharge your batteries in summer, you can enjoy your private spa in any season.

The bath comes with a wood-burning stove to heat it. The initial heating time will necessarily be longer to bring the volume of water up to temperature, but afterwards, it will be easy to enjoy its benefits. All you have to do is grab your towel and bathing suit and get into the warm water of your bath.

The pool is sold with a filtration system to keep the water healthy and allow you to relax in total serenity, alone or with friends. A Jacuzzi-type whirlpool system is available, depending on the model and finishes chosen.

No need to go to a spa hotel: a cold bath lets you enjoy hydrotherapy sessions outdoors and a complete spa & wellness area at home. It's also possible to use the Nordic bath without heating it, to enjoy the benefits of the cold. Immersed in a bath with heated or unheated water for a swim or longer relaxation, the water will bring you different benefits, always providing relaxation in any season, summer or winter. You can also add a wooden cabin, always appreciated near your balneo, to keep your bathrobe or towel close at hand.

How long does it take the water to heat up?

If the bath is first used with cold water at 5°c, it will take 4 hours for the water to reach temperature. This will of course depend on the size of the Nordic bath and the outside temperature.

Then, for regular use, one hour of heating will suffice to bring the water up to temperature.

A light heating system can be installed as an option to reduce heat loss from the bath between uses.

Does the water in my Nordic bath remain healthy?

You can add a sand filter system to clean the water. This will enable you to filter the water continuously and ensure its sanitation. With a sand filter, you'll need to change the water every 3 to 4 weeks, depending on your usage. For intensive use, we recommend adding a water treatment system.

I don't use my bath very often. Do I have to empty it?

In the event of prolonged non-use, especially in winter with sub-zero temperatures, it's important to drain the water from your Nordic bath.
